JMP Fab Grad Spokesmodel Spotlight… Ashley!!

I’m so very pleased to congratulate Ashley Keefe, Enloe High School Class of 2015, on being hand selected as my very 1st Fab Grad Spokesmodel! I couldn’t be more pleased to have such a wonderful young lady representing my work and wanted to take a few moments to share a little more about her & what makes her so fabulous…

First of all – Ashley’s application blew me away instantly!! It made me giggle, tear up & be inspired all in just a few pages! She quite admirably poured out her thoughts and opened up herself so genuinely & honestly as she answered the questions posed to her. And… wow… completely caught my attention! There really wasn’t any doubt that I’d accept her! She is sweet & delightful & seems to have an impressively strong mind for what she believes in (which uh, yeah… I admire SO very much!). She describes herself in 3 words as: Playful, Enthusiastic & Energetic. I’ve definitely seen this to be true. She is equally a very real teenage girl, who has had her own share of struggles to get through high school & self-confidence issues so far. She has come to realize her own strength in what she’s gotten through & accomplished, finding her ‘edge to keep on fighting’!

Ashley has a deep passion for musical theatre and is very involved in it locally, including recently being in Hairspray & Thoroughly Modern Millie. She L-O-V-E-S tap dancing! To solidify this passion, she will even randomly break out into tapping! How great is that?! Fitting in with this area of interests, she would dress only in costumes that she made herself if she could! In the meantime, she describes her everyday fashion style as “A conglomeration of aspects from different, popular fashion-genres” and whole-heartedly believes t-shirts & jeans will never go out of style.

Fun & Fab Scoop on Ashley’s FAV things:

  • Colors… Green, Purple, Blue, Red
  • Music… Classic Rock, Big-Band Style, Classical & Musical Theatre
  • Musicians… Billy Joel, Queen, Bon Jovi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pentatonix, Mumford & Sons, Lindsey Stirling
  • Books… Leviathan, Behemoth and Goliath, a trilogy by Scott Westerfield, The Artemis Fowl Series by Eoin Colfer, The Beautiful Creatures Series by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, The Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare and The Giver Series by Lois Lowry
  • TV Shows… Supernatural, Star Trek: The Original Series, How I Met Your Mother, Attack on Titan, Sherlock
  • Movies… Anything but Horror!
  • Artist… Rembrandt
  • Food… Chocolate
  • Thing to Do with Friends… “Talk. All day. Everyday. I like just being with people. Being there for the other person(s) is all that really matters, because no matter where you are or what you do, you’ll still be there with and for each other”

A few other random but SO fun tidbits 😉

  • People used to always think she & her 2.5yrs older brother were twins (they act just alike 🙂 )
  • She has a semi-secret dream of being a firefighter
  • She wishes Spock, Captain Kirk & Dr McCoy were real people
  • She wishes she had wings & could fly!

Ashley’s future dreams include an Italy Vacation – with her beau (I LOVE that’s her word), visiting all the historic sites & churches, strolling through the streets, specifically visiting Rome & Venice. The next step in her future dreams, however, is going to college to major in Musical Theatre & Business, hopefully even grad school for Directing! Ideally (& I think, quite realistically for this talented gal), she would like to become a stage-director who primarily directs musicals… maybe even having her own community theater that does shows for all ages. Personally, I can see her being an inspiration for future musical theatre dreamers!!

Goodness, there is SO much more I want to keep sharing… but… time to share some images of this fun, talented & oh so beautiful young lady!…

If you see Ashley around school or elsewhere… stop & say “HI!” – your day will be brighter for it! Even drop her a comment or note here, on her proofs page or Facebook spotlight post. And certainly, feel free to reach out to her or myself if interested in getting your own Fab Grad (Senior) Portrait Session booked! Actuallypost a friendly comment to Ashley at any of the previous mentioned spots & book your session during Ashley’s spotlight week (9/4-11/14) to receive an additional 10% off your session fee!! BONUS 😀
