What better way to start off this years sessions & warm up the winter months than with celebrating two wonderful people becoming parents and the arrival of their very special lil’ fella?! In February & March, we did both a couples & an individual maternity session, even a newborn session to celebrate this precious dream come true!
We’ve known this beautiful, glowing Mama since she joined our family as Lizzy’s Nanny at just 4 months old! Since then she has been with us through lots of ups & downs, most importantly the joy of Trey completing our family. We’ve seen her complete school (studying with baby Lizzy, who now has no fear of blood & is happy to jump in any time someone has a booboo 😉 ) and move on from her little job with us to her career as a nurse, marry her soul mate (with Lizzy as their flower girl… of course), buy their first home and now… NOW – the most precious of all… we get to see her become a Mama herself!!! This is a dream I knew right away that she held very dear to her heart. It’s been a long, not always easy road but oh SO very joyous & exciting that it is finally here for them!!
The photos pretty much speak for themselves… Ashley & Joe are definitely a fun-loving sort of couple, always laughing & so stinkin adorably silly together! SUCH a fun session that STILL makes me smile when I look at these images & how they interact with each other. Ashley is her own uniquely fabulous, strong & confident person. She’s also quite the Patriots fan (hey, we planned this even before we knew they’d be in, let alone win the Superbowl this year) and we had a blast playing that into her individual glamour images! Yep – football + maternity glamour! Something different & I LOVED IT!!

And while I don’t do Newborn portraits anymore… I couldn’t help it – I let Ashley talk me into promising that this precious fella would be my last before I truly stopped. Meet their sweet bundle of love, Lucas… isn’t he SO sweet & handsome?!! <3
